Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is known for his distinctive style of his rapping. Baker was born on April 22 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents were missionaries and in his early years, Baker traveled extensively with them. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness while the mother Sonia Alane left them when at the age of nine. Baker's father emigrated with his son to Denver and lived with the aunt of his father. Baker had to endure bullying from other children because of his lack of wealth. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker was able to take up rap. Colson Baker, also known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. His compositions are known as a blend of contemporary hip-hop and rock music with alternative music. Baker produced four mixtapes before signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. In late 2011, this Cleveland rapper became a star following his transition from self-releasing mixtapes to working for reputed record labels. After that, his career was on the rise as each albums charted inside the top 10 charts.
